The upwards wave.
I think of the down part as traction. Without traction, there is no movement. I also think of resistence in this way too. It's the ground that enables us to walk. Without shadow/darkness and only light we can't see and the reverse is also true.
In essence then we're saying that contrast enables life. What is life? The dance of contrast.
I've found that personally, I can force the up for considerable time but I will enevitably have to spend time in the down. This created quite a lot of drama in my life when I was wholey or felt like foused on living the best life.
I've also observed and now stick with a much softer approach which is in simple terms, let the down serve me for traction, grip and desire to live in the up but I also don't resist the down if it comes.
What does this look like in practice. I'll live according to my feeling of good then a life event which is often in the form of having my house full of people who really don't follow anything to do with what has beome my protocol and instead of resisting them, I join in. For those few days, I start falling into older habits like eating whatever whenever. After those few days though, I am so very ready to get back to my protocol that it feels fresh and exciting again as I do.
But a core focus of what I'm talking about here is not mentioned yet. It's that each time. ((don't forrget to talk aout the bigger waves caused by the forced up)). I'm going up. I'm closer each time to what is harmonious. Meaning my harominisation increases each wave. The waves is not along a straight horizontal line but angled upwards. Up is haromony, down is chaos. Not to be confused that in harmony chaos does not exist - it's that in ultimate harmony; chaos is harominzed simultaniously but in chaos (in terms of the wave) there is no harmony so it's scale of ability to/or availablity of/to haromony in ones experience. Ultimately the greater experience of all things is ultimate simultanious harmony.
